Native of Chile and Argentina
An evergreen perennial
Long narrow sword shaped leaves of grey/green
Grows to 60cm high by 30cm wide
Prefers full sun but will tolerate part shade
It bears slender spikes of cream flowers with purple stripes
Fully hardy
Likes poor to moderate soils that are well drained
Propagate from division in late summer or will self-seed readily
