  • Deep blue to violet blue flowers in dense cymes
  • Prefers sun in well drained enriched soil
  • Leaves are downy and serrated
  • Fully frost hardy
  • Propagate from soft tip or firm leafy cuttings in spring to autumn
  • Good cultivars – “Arthur Simmonds”, “Heavenly Blue”, “Blue Mist”
  • Prune moderately in late winter or early spring to promote new growth
