What: Arren Stuart-Watt, Manager, Urban Landscapes at Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council will provide a high-level overview of all the items covered by the Urban Landscapes team, their current
successes and challenges. This includes the parks and garden beds in Braidwood which the local team does so well to look after.
He will also talk a bit on how to get grant funding for volunteer works or community ideas of the ground and the best way to raise concerns or get issues resolved in your local area. Arren previously worked at Dubbo Regional Council and was appointed to the position of Manager, Urban Landscapes at QPRC in late 2025. He is a horticulturist, sports turf manager, and urban planner who is passionate about parks and open space management.
