The Braidwood Garden Club was first established in 1980 and is part of a nation-wide network under the auspices of the The Garden Clubs of Australia Inc. Our members are from the historic town of Braidwood and its surrounds.
We have over 100 members and hold meetings each month except in January. Most of our meetings are out and about excursions visiting local gardens or going on bus trips to surrounding areas
Membership fees:
- The annual membership fee of $20, payable in August each year. This includes insurance and our monthly emailed newsletter.
- For those who prefer to receive the newsletter via mail there is a fee of $30 payable with the annual membership fee.
- There is also an optional subscription of $20 pa to ‘Our Gardens’, the Garden Clubs of Australia quarterly publication.
Our Mission
The objectives of the Club are:

- To encourage friendship through gardening
- to increase the knowledge of gardening in all its aspects
- to protect our environment, and
- to encourage civic beauty and roadside development
And, the Club is non-political and non-sectarian, and all are welcome to come join us.
